Welcome to our Community! |
Centerville is a small town with a diverse history and culture. Centerville provides an opportunity for visitors to experience the past while shopping its many antique stores, dining in one of the many eateries or just walking along the historic National Road that is Centerville's main street. Being the hub of National Roads antique alley, Centerville is a great place to visit year round for antiques and shopping.
Platted in 1814, Centerville played a part in the western American expansion and the Gold Rush. Being conveniently located along the Historic National Road allowed Centerville to grow quickly with ample transient business. Centerville was also the county seat in these years, giving it the opportunity to host judges, lawyers, and great political leaders.
Today Centerville is a quiet and friendly community well worth visiting. To learn more about the attractions and businesses of Centerville, visit our Business Directory! |
